The Network for the Promotion of Asian Cinema (NETPAC) is a worldwide organization of 29 member countries. It was created as the result of a conference on Asian cinema organized by Cinemaya, the Asian Film Quarterly, in New Delhi in 1990 at the instance and with the support of UNESCO, Paris.

Headquartered in Singapore, the NETPAC is a pan-Asian film cultural organization involving critics, filmmakers, festival organizers and curators, distributors and exhibitors, as well as film educators. It is considered a leading authority on Asian cinema. Since 1990, it has programmed Asian sections of international film festivals, introduced filmmakers from Asia to the world, brought out a compendium of the existing film infrastructure in different Asian countries, organized seminars and conferences and instituted an award for the Best Asian Film at festivals like Singapore, Busan, Jeonju, Kerala, Kazakhstan and Osian's Cinefan among those in Asia; Berlin, Locarno, Karlovy Vary, Rotterdam, Vesoul and others in Europe; at Brisbane in Australia; Hawaii in the US; Antalya in Turkey and Black Nights in Estonia.

With the international meeting held in Istanbul on 24.11.2022, the International Committee of Sustainable Thematic Film Festivals (CINETOUR) was established, open to all member countries of the United Nations, with the support of UNESCO and the Council of Europe. The works were opened with the greeting of the Director of the Council of Europe, Venice office, Mrs. Pavan. The meeting was attended by 30 founding members from 19 member countries. The CINETOUR committee, which aims to bring together all film festivals, directors, artists, media-culture-art representatives and many important personalities from the world, is the first and only committee in the world in this sense.

The Sino-French New Film Association is an organization dedicated to promoting cultural exchange and cooperation between the film industries of China and France. The association aims to serve as a bridge between the film industries of both countries, fostering communication and collaboration among filmmakers. Through various activities, screenings, seminars, and collaborative projects, the association facilitates connections and partnerships between filmmakers from both nations. It supports the international expansion of Chinese cinema and provides broader global distribution channels for Chinese films. The mission of the Sino-French New Film Association is to strengthen the cooperative relationship between the film industries of China and France, promote the cross-border dissemination and development of film culture, and create more opportunities and platforms for collaboration among filmmakers.
